Trek the Trail is Shire of Mundaring's premier walking and cycling event that takes place every September along a section of Railway Reserves Heritage Trail.
Enjoy art, entertainment, local history, activities and the physical challenge amongst the natural beauty of one of the State's Top Trails. The appeal of natural bush land, wildflowers in full bloom, changing landscapes and unfolding history will certainly complement your walk or ride.
The Trek starts at 9am for cyclists and 9.30am for walkers where you will be given your 'Be Active Passport' with more information about what to see and do along your journey. Celebrate the end of your Trek with live entertainment and delicious fare, before catching the courtesy bus back to the start.
Trek is eagerly anticipated by groups and individuals from all over WA and is suited to all ages and abilities. Shire of Mundaring encourages everyone to be involved in Trek the Trail and continually upgrades Railway Reserves Heritage Trail to improve the quality of access and facilities.
This event is free and non-competitive so take as long as you like to finish the route or just complete a section of it.
